Together Waterloo hosted our first Conference on May 01, 2024. Attendees were part of the conversation surrounding intersections of perinatal mental health within marginalized communities.

We invited discussions around:

  • Queer reproductive trauma,
  • Precariously housed parents,
  • Importance of peer support, and
  • Indigenous culturally appropriate care.

This conference offered a platform for learning, networking, and collaboration. Topics included those living at the intersection of perinatal mental health and precarious housing, BIPGM identity, newcomer communities, and 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Together, we can work towards creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
